Keep a bulk T-shirt order accurate.

A reliable total comes from clear rows, not a rough head count copied into several messages.

Short answer: Choose a coordinator, establish garment and artwork options, collect confirmed size choices and total each unique combination. Keep pending selections and deliberate spares separate. Freeze a dated version for the quote and reconcile every later change against that version.

Match the order size to the published starting options

ANCO standard T-shirt starting options

24-shirt packageCAD $495The same package scope, with the actual size breakdown confirmed

Package starting prices include standard T-shirts or pullover hoodies in sizes S–XL, one 4 × 4 in left-chest DTF print and setup. Larger sizes, larger prints and additional locations cost extra. Final pricing depends on garment selection, artwork dimensions, quantity, print locations and availability. Taxes and optional delivery are additional where applicable.

Compare the T-shirt package and volume prices before choosing a budget. If the group needs fewer than 12 pieces, use the small-order brief instead of adding shirts just to reach a package quantity.

Package prices and volume starting rates are separately published anchors, not a calculator for a final order. Small orders are welcome; if you need fewer than 12, send the details for a quote. Adding a second print location or changing the garment changes the scope.

For custom T-shirt printing in Calgary, choose the intended garment and artwork first. Then use the count below to prepare the request. The turnaround guide explains which confirmations must happen before the typical production window begins.

Set the choices before collecting answers

Decide who can change the order and where the current version lives. Give wearers the garment reference, colour choices, fit ranges and actual size chart. If sourcing is still open, collect preferences as provisional and make the uncertainty visible. A preference survey is not yet a production-ready size breakdown.

  1. Name one coordinator and a backup who can find the same order record.
  2. Confirm which garment choices and artwork versions are in scope.
  3. Collect style, fit range, colour, size and quantity together.
  4. Resolve missing answers before treating them as confirmed pieces.
  5. Send a dated breakdown for the quote and keep changes in a short change log.

A manufacturer's style-specific chart illustrates why a size belongs to a particular garment. Share the chart for your proposed style, not an unrelated example.

“Bulk” does not tell you how many extra pieces to buy. Spares are an explicit budget and allocation decision. Record their intended use and actual sizes instead of hiding a percentage inside the wearer total. Ask ANCO to confirm the scope and feasibility of the requested quantities; this example does not establish a minimum or discount.

Illustrative example: a change after the quote request

One wearer changes size

Illustrative example · Not a documented customer order

The coordinator sends version 1 with 52 confirmed pieces including spares. A wearer then changes an adult M to adult L in the same style and colour. Version 2 subtracts one M and adds one L, so the total remains 52.

The coordinator sends the replacement breakdown and a note identifying the two changed rows. They ask whether the change can be accommodated at the current stage. They do not assume that editing the spreadsheet changes an order already approved for production.

Send one complete, dated brief

  • Exact garment choices and confirmed quantities by size.
  • Artwork files with a version name and each requested location.
  • Any youth/adult or other artwork variants mapped to garment rows.
  • Requested in-hand date and the reason it matters.
  • Pending decisions, approved spares and the person authorized to answer questions.

Use the ungated group-size worksheet and send the result with your custom T-shirt quote request. Timing and garment availability need confirmation before you rely on them.

Check print placement for the full size range, then resolve design readability before the final proof is approved.

Sources and scope

Manufacturer examples explain specific products and do not confirm ANCO stock, equipment or suppliers. ANCO reviews the proposed garment, artwork and order before confirming suitability.

A few practical answers.

These answers are a starting point. Your garment, artwork and order details determine the final conversation.

How many spare shirts should we order?

There is no universal allowance. Decide what the spares are for, who approves the spending and which actual sizes are needed. Keep them separate from confirmed wearer choices.

Can we add people after approving the order?

Ask ANCO about the current production stage and feasibility. Keep the addition separate until its garment, quantity, cost scope and timing are confirmed.
